A joint performance with a visiting German orchestra, Mitteldeutsche Kammerphilharmonie Schönebeck. This orchestra has performed with top celebrities in many of the major cities of Europe. The occasion celebrates the 10th anniversary of German re-unification, as well as the 250th anniversary of the death of J S Bach. The orchestra will provide an orchestral programme, performing with the Pretoria Bach Choir for one choral item, namely J. S. Bach's cantata "Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme" (BWV 140).
